Current Events:
Exact Date TBD - Open Community Discussion about the past, present, and future of OCHC
Dear Friends, Supporters, Clients and Practioners, past, present and future;
The Olympia Community Herbal Clinic A.K.A. The Olympia Free Herbal Clinic A.K.A. the Dandelion Seed Collective, as you may know, has been going through some dramatic shifts in this past year. As we look towards the future of this project, we are trying to figure out ways to make it more sustainable for practitioners and collective members, as well as making this resource more accessible to a wider range of people.
Many folks have been a part of this project over the past decade, and we are seeking as much input as possible from all of you. We want to honor the history of the clinic and all the work that has gone into it, as well as tap into this wealth of collective knowledge and experience.
We’d like to have an open discussion about what has and hasn’t worked, as well as what is desired by the community in this next phase. Please consider joining us for this! If you can’t come in person, we would love to hear from you any other way as well.
If you are interested in coming, please pick some times and dates that work from the options on our doodle poll. We will look at when is accessible for the most people, and post it by December 1st.

· Have you been a part of this project in the past? What did you see that really worked well? What could have been better? What didn’t work at all? Why did you leave, and what could this project have done to better sustain you? What unrealized dreams did you/do you have for this project?
· Have you accessed the services of OCHC? What did you love? Hate? What did you wish for that wasn’t part of your experience?
· Have you considered accessing the services of OCHC? What barriers prevented access for you? What attracted you to consider coming in?
· Are you a current client or a part of the workings of the OCHC? What feels inspiring about the project as it is? What feels frustrating or insufficient?
· Have you worked in or accessed other herb clinics? What are some things that you’ve seen work other places that you think could apply here? What are pitfalls you’ve seen that you think we should avoid?
· Got any other good ideas or constructive criticisms? We’d love to hear about them!
Thanks for taking the time to read this, and we look forward to hearing back. Please please send this on to anyone you think might be in any way interested. I’m very new to this project and this town, and absolutely sure I didn’t send this to many crucial people who I should have.
All the best,
Salix + the rest of Dandelion Seed Collective
